“the cracks are how the light gets in” features a river of pinks and purples flowing upwards, and was inspired by Leonard Cohen’s lyric: there is a crack, a crack in everything / That's how the light gets in; and also the wisdom of Rumi: the wound is the place where the light enters. The original artwork has chunks of broken glass disrupting and directing the flow of colour.
